GET TO KNOW LINDSEY

Lindsey is thrilled to join the Hudson community and to help everyone that joins FitlabFT to find their version of fit, and have the best time while doing it. “If you have to spend an hour working out, you might as well do it with people whom are not just committed to getting you to your girls, but bettering you also. And, having fun and breaking out in dance while doing it.”

While the start of Lindsey’s fitness career began in 2011 when she received her personal training certification through American Council on Exercise (ACE), she grew up an avid athlete that earned her many “Captain” title’s and college scholarships. Lindsey graduated from Washington Adventist University in Washington D.C., with a degree specializing in Psychology and Philosophy, she was also the team captain for her acrobatics team. The Acro-Air’s did many professional shows including performing for the Washington Wizard’s home games, and various other NBA halftime shows.

She has spent the better part of her career in the fitness industry building strong teams of employees, managing overall sales and operations of fitness facilities as a General Manager, as well as training clients in both a 1 on 1 setting and in class or group settings. Lindsey doesn’t just preach fitness, she practices it too. She’s completed the Marine Corps Marathon and many half marathons; competed in two fitness competitions and in 2014 made it through to the final round of the try out’s for the Patriot’s Cheerleaders. She didn’t make that elite team, but she still considers herself a cheerleader and was so grateful for that opportunity.

Outside of work and working out, you can find Lindsey volunteering or coaching. She was the race director for the Cupid’s Undie Run, bringing it to Boston for the first time in 2013. In 4 years, her event fundraised over 1 million dollars which earned her the “Volunteer of the Year” award from the beneficiary, the Children’s Tumor Foundation. She was also on the Board in NH for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and does various other fundraising events for causes she believes in. While she thought she wouldn’t start coaching high school sports until she had children of her own, she coached JV girls this last fall and has found a new outlet for her athletic background and passion. “There is no better feeling than a 15 year old girl pulling you aside, and asking what they can do to be better and get more playing time…instilling good values and a hard work ethic at this age, and then watching them succeed is SO inspiring.”

Lindsey is thrilled to join the Hudson community and to help everyone that joins FitlabFT to find their version of fit, and have the best time while doing it. “If you have to spend an hour working out, you might as well do it with people whom are laughing and having fun, and ultimately committed to getting you to your goals. The time is going to pass anyway, but what if in 6 months you were the fittest, healthiest, and most confident version of yourself? I will absolutely get you there, you just have to walk through the door.”
